Preliminary Post

Cheers.

So I guess this is a little late, but I thought I'd write a formal introduction post to my blog. Honestly, I'm not really sure what this blog will end up becoming and it's irrelevant to me if anyone reads it, but I genuinely enjoy writing and committing to a blog forces me to write daily/frequently, which, I believe, is the best way to become a good writer. It is, however, irrelevant to me if you think I'm a good writer or not. So read if you like it, or don't if you don't...

At some point I will probably explain the title of this blog and my alias/pen name/whatever you want to call it. But my purpose with this post is simply to say hello and loosely define what you can expect if you plan to read this blog. So, the following is a prospective list of topics/formats you can expect my posts to contain:

1. Daily thoughts/reactions based on what happens to me/what I do during the day.

2. Song lyrics and my commentary on them.

3. My own poetry.

4. Short stories posted in monthly or weekly (possibly daily if I suddenly experience a massive influx of free time) installments.

5. Commentaries on YouTube videos/movies I've watched.

And that's pretty much it. These posts are my thoughts and I've decided to share them with you. Take them or leave them. Feel free to give me feedback if something I say sparks some inner controversy in your soul, or simply read my words with a grain of salt.

Some disclaimers:

1. I believe sarcasm is essential to a healthy lifestyle and practice it frequently.

2. I cannot claim or promise that something enthralling and irrevocably entertaining will occur in my life every day, nor that my thoughts will inspire you to be a better person or make life your bitch.

3. I will cuss.

4. I will not reveal my name or the names of anyone I refer to.

5. I won't reveal many "background" details of my personal life unless necessary to illuminate a point I'm making on a specific experience/theory.

6. The previous list of topics/formats for my blog are simply my best guess at this point and are subject to moderate to extreme change.

So, yeah. That's pretty much it. Cheers.
